Nicole
Elikolani Prescovia was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to a Filipino
father and a Hawaiian/Russian mother and grew up in Louisville,
Kentucky with stepfather Gary Scherzinger. She majored in
theater arts, but started her career as singer. In 2001
she had her big breakthrough with the TV Show "Popstars",
that show earned her a spot in the group "Eden's Crash".
In 2003 she joined the burlesque group
"The Pussycat Dolls" (guest singers included for
example Carmen Electra and Christina Aguilera). Their debut
CD with Nicole Scherzinger as lead singer was a worldwide
success and includes hits like "Don't Cha" and
"Stickwitu".
